The cabins on VSOE have been perfectly restored to their former glory. Each cabin has an original washbasin cabinet with hot and cold water, which becomes an inviting bedroom at night. Cabins convert in moments from daytime seating to a comfortable bedroom, all performed by cabin stewards while passengers enjoy a gourmet dinner in the restaurant car. Toilet facilities are available in each carriage and are splendidly appointed. 

Cabins on the VSOE consist of Double Cabins and Cabin Suites. Double Cabins are a private lounge during the day with a banquette sofa, footstool and small table converting into a upper and lower bed at night with soft towels and crisp linens completing the look. Cabin Suites combine two private interconnecting cabins to create a private lounge. Cabin Suites can either be made up into a lounge and separate sleeping cabin, or two separate single sleeping cabins. A nice mosaic-tiled lavatory is located in each cabin.

Dining on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is a delightful experience in itself. All dishes are fresh and delicious prepared with care on the train by skilled French chefs, with the finest supplies taken onboard during the train's journey. Lunch, dinner and brunch are served by waiters in one of the three individually styled Restaurant Cars: Cote d’Azur, Etoile du Nord or L' Oriental. Breakfast and dinners are served in the comforts of your cabins.

This Lalique Car is divided into several sections, one of which is the Champagne bar, which is self-explanatory. The other has a number of board games. It is truly a unique, intimate and stylish experience. You can enjoy a relaxed conversation before and after dinner at the Champagne car as amazing European scenery passes by or can enjoy some board games as well.
