A Need for speed

With modern high-speed trains you can quickly travel large distances. These trains are not only fast but also comfortable. The new generation of high-speed trains travel at speeds over 250 kmph. Why fly when you often can get more comfortably, conveniently and faster by high-speed train, sometimes for a third of the of the cost of a business-class air ticket? When travelling by air, your time is fraught and fragmented - you need tome to get to the airport, checking in an hour before, standing in line, getting on and off the plane, and then airport to city at the other end. By train, this is a city centre to centre journey, with minimum hassles. From Barcelona to Beijing, from Munich to Milan, from Shanghai to Stockholm, a range of high speed trains are cutting down overall travel time and giving travellers more time to visit multiple locations.
